Sarah & Matt | Engagement

It was a race against the weather ! Sarah, Matt, and I had an original date for the engagement shoot, but the weather decided not to cooperate with us. So, we rescheduled the shoot for October 10. However, when the tenth came and we saw that it was supposed to rain in the afternoon, we both jumped in our respective cars and raced to the location !

For their engagement shoot, I met up with Sarah & Matt at the William B. Umstead State Park. Even though the park is about 12 minutes from my house, I had never been there before ! Actually, I had never even heard of it ! Lucky for me, Sarah and Matt suggested this absolutely amazing, wooded location ! I had a blast shoot with them and admiring all the autumnal colors.

This was such a fun shoot because Matt and Sarah are so laid back and natural and adventurous and awesome. . . AND THEY BROUGHT THEIR DOGS !!!! (I love dogs. . . in case you didn’t know). We started our shoot on the main path, leaving the visitor center.
